Scadd Draft© is a total drafting package designed by structural
engineers and CADD technicians. Our goal is to make working with AutoCAD as
simple as possible. The less time that is spent on setup, layers, textstyles,
dimstyles and linetypes, the more time can be devoted to thinking about your
design. The main component that manages all these functions is the Scadd Control
Panel. From here you can customize your company's or clients' drafting standards
or just use Scadd's factory settings to start and customize it as you see fit. Scadd
Draft was designed with intelligence so that as you draft, Scadd will
automatically adjust all these setting for you. We hope that you explore Scadd
Draft. Our experience has been that once you start using Scadd Draft, you
will never want to draft or design without it again.

Key
features of Scadd Draft v2.01... include the following:
The
Scadd Control Panel manages all your drafting standards including Dimstyles,
Textstyles, Leaders, Layers , Linetypes and annotation. They are all managed
and controlled as you draft. Set up multiple drafting standards for your
Company and Clients in Scadd Draft's Control Panel.
Quick
and Easy access to library of shapes including AISC steel shapes, concrete,
timber as well as fasteners. whether drawing a beam, column or joist, drafting
could not be any easier. Scadd Draft allows you to easily choose the right
shape without a lot of sub-menus to step through. Also, you can store your
favorite shapes for immediate access.
Scale
fences allow you to draw multiple scale plans and details. Scadd Draft
will dynamically change all drawing settings as you draw within Scadd's Scale
Fences. In model space, you can draw multiple scales without
even changing a text height, dimstyle or linetype scale! You'll never have to
think about these things again.
Scadd
Draft's Level manager allows 3D Drafting capability using to draw your floor
plans in 3D and easily plot each level in Paper Space.
Using
Scadd Level Manager and the Footing Scheduler, you can insert spread footings
and let Scadd Draft automatically insert footings with footing type and
elevation labeled. In addition, it will create and maintain a footing
schedule. If you change level elevations, size reinforcement or footing types,
the Footing Schedule automatically updates your footings with the correct
size, elevation and type.

Multiple Scale Details
Drawn in Model Space
Below are two details drawn in model space. The
detail to the left is drawn at 3/4"=1'-0" and the detail to the right
is drawn at 1/2"=1'-0". By using Scadd Draft Scale Fences (drawn
around each detail) the user can draw all the leaders, dimensions, text,
annotation, weld symbols, section marks without changing a dimstyle, textsyle or
scaling any of the annotation. As you draw within each scale fence, Scadd
Draft will automatically adjust all these parameters on the fly.
Note: These details where drawn without
creating one layer. By using the Scadd Draft menus and buttons, all of
the layers where automatically created as needed. All of the layers,
linetypes, textstyles, dimstyles are managed by Scadd's Control Panel.
Plotting Multiple Scale
Details in Paperspace
Below are the same two details drawn above as shown
in paperspace. Notice that all of the text, dimensions, annotation etc.
are the same size. Another feature of Scadd Draft are its tools to quickly
create viewports and automatically scale the detail in model space to the
appropriate scale in paperspace with out having to input an 1/dimscaleXP zoom
factor.
Note: Both the viewports and scale fences are
automatically created on non-plotting layers.
